Chapter Eighteen
How do you feel -- do you agree or disagree -- with Amy's decision not to try to make a deal or negotiate with Hugh? Why do you feel this way?
I would do the same thing because it would get me out of captivity and I would be able to see my family again. Then I would tell the police, because it would be the right thing to do, but I would tell them that Smokey was the head of the operation and Hugh was dragged into the kidnapping so he shouldn't get punished as much.
I agree with Amy's decision because if I ever wanted too see my family again that would be the way to do it, because they might kill me before they give me back if they even do give me back. And after I drove away far enough to get some help, I would contact the police like Brian said and tell them where Smokey and Hugh are.
